Rich from Punknews.org just conducted an interviewed Strung Out drummer Jordan Burns and asked him if they got a new studio album in the works. Jordan’s response was,
“How about later than sooner. We’re all talking about it and we want to get a new record out but we are aiming at 2013. As long as we’re all here and we don’t all die on December 21st as the Maya predicted ’cause there’s a lot of shady shit going on around the world. So let’s see what will happen in 2013 right?”

Strung Out released their last full length, Agents of the Underground on September 29th 2009, and a retrospective entitled Top Contenders on July 19th, 2011, both via Fat Wreck Chords. They just recently announced that they have live DVD in the can.
