Of Mice and Men replaces vocalist Austin Carlile

of-mice-and-men-albumCalifornia hardcore band Of Mice and Men has announced that vocalist Austin Carlile has been replaced by Jerry Roush. The band has stated that Austin “has some issues that prevent him from being able to meet the demands of touring full time”. It’s rumored that Austin has a heart condition which has prevented him from touring, although the band did not make any reference to this. His full-time replacement, Jerry Roush (formerly of Sky Eats Airplane), had been filling in for Austin on the band’s most recent tour before the announcement was made.

The band is playing The Bamboozle as well as the Rise Records summer tour with label-mates The Bled. They’ll also be playing Warped Tour and have a Europen tour planned in September and October. Get the details at Dying Scene shows.
