On the Cinder releases video for “For the Lost and the Loud”

Buffalo, NY’s On the Cinder just put out a new video for the track “For the Lost and the Loud,” and you can check it out below.

On the Cinder’s guitarist Jason Wright shared some neat info about the video.  The video (which is surprisingly good)  was actually recorded by the band itself.  The basement show at the end of the video was actual footage of a show in the band’s basement, shot long before anyone thought of making a music video.

Wright describes “For the Lost and the Loud” this way:

The song itself was written with the Buffalo underground punk scene in mind.  It’s sort of about creating our own scene and our own community, and the video follows in the same vein with the main character skating from place to place trying to find the right place to call home and the right group of people to call friends and family.  Ultimately it ends it a basement show followed by a campfire with a scene of some friends sitting around and playing some songs around a fire.

On the Cinder is set to release a new 7″ in January via Between the Days Records, and they will embark on a tour of the East Coast and Midwest starting in March.
