New Found Glory have released a video for “Barbed Wire”. The track is from the deluxe edition of their album “Makes Me Sick” (“Makes Me Sick Again”). The band have released a limited version of the album that you can order now on red splatter vinyl.

NYHC legends Sick Of It All have announced that their 12th studio album, “Wake The Sleeping Dragon!”, is to be released on November 2nd. The band have previewed the album artwork, which you can see below. No advance tracks have surfaced yet, but as soon as they do, you’ll be the first to know…

This will be the band’s first new release since 2016’s EP “When The Smoke Clears”.

Luicidal ― a punk band featuring former Suicidal Tendencies bassist Louiche Mayorga ― have announced that their long-awaited second album Born in Venice will be released on October 12th via Cleopatra Records.

A press release reads, “The killer new album from Louiche Mayorga, the original bass player for Venice Beach, CA thrash punk legends Suicidal Tendencies and co-writer of that band’s most popular songs! 12 brand new tracks plus a very special Spanish language cover of the Suicidal classic “Institutionalized” featuring vocalist Ceci Bastida from the legendary Mexican ska-punk band Tijuana No! Avialble on both CD and limited edition blue vinyl!”

Here’s another one that means a lot to us, gang. It’s the debut single from Mercy Union, a band who should look familiar even if you’ve probably not seen them yet. The band consists of (L-R above, photo by Greg Pallante) Rocky Catanese (Let Me Run), Benny Horowitz (The Gaslight Anthem, Bottomfeeder, Wax Bottles), Jared Hart (The Scandals) and Nick Jorgensen (Hollow-Eyed), and came together as Hart was woodshedding music for a second solo album. Instead, it turned into something new and different and awesome. Check out the band’s first single, “Chips and Vics,” right here.

We’ve been waiting on this one for a looooong time, and all of a sudden, it’s here!

But first, a history lesson. Viva Death started as a baritone-guitar driven project spearheaded by Face To Face’s Scott Shiflett and Trever Keith. The lineup on the band’s first few albums (2002’s Viva Death and 2006’s One Percent Panic) was filled out by Shiflett’s younger brother, Chris, the omnipresent Josh Freese on drums and producer extraordinaire Chad Blinman (Face To Face, Saves The Day, The Get Up Kids and more). 2010 brought the project’s third release, Curse The Darkness, but also had turned into a labor-of-love project between Blinman and the elder Shiflett, who played virtually all of the instruments on that go-’round.

In the years since Curse The Darkness, Face To Face has obviously become much busier again and Shiflett and Blinman live on opposite coasts, so Viva Death took a back seat. They came together a while back to record a brand new album, and the fruits of their labor are finally upon us. The new album is called Illuminate, and it is due for release on October 26th. Rob Taxpayer is an artist’s artist. This is a man who continuously creates. Whether it be the many exciting, volatile, and ambitious records he’s made with The Taxpayers, or the accompanying novel to God Forgive These Bastards: Songs From the Forgotten Life of Henry Turner, Rob Taxpayer is constantly busy making something. He’s punk in the most classical sense—an individual with a developed perspective and DIY to the bone—following his muse in and out of the strict boundaries punk sets for itself, and redrawing the borders as he sees fit.

Rob’s latest project is the Song of the Week Club, in which he releases a new song every week. August 20th, today, is the anniversary of this insane, impressive project. To commemorate this event, we’re premiering the video for “Gary, Indiana”—a song about Janus, the Roman God of Change “taking Gary, Indiana into her car and carrying the city towards whatever new birth is coming for the post-industrial midwestern city.”

Chicago pop-punk veterans Smoking Popes announced today via Instagram the title and release date of a new album. Into the Agony will be released on October 12 via Asian Man Records. We’ll keep you posted if/when the band ends up streaming a new track online.

Into the Agony will be the band’s first studio LP since 2011’s This Is Only a Test.

Australian hardcore act Idle Threat are streaming their debut “Rope Burn” in it’s entirety. They also have some sweet package deals when ordering vinyl or digital here.
