According to a German website, California punk icons Bad Religion will release their long-awaited new album this summer, which they began work on last February. The release of the follow-up to 2013’s True North coincides with the band’s summer European tour.

In addition to being the first album from Bad Religion in five years, the record will be their first with Mike Dimkich (replacing Greg Hetson) on guitar and Jamie Miller (replacing Brooks Wackerman) on drums.

In true DIY fashion, the eleven man troupe (if we’re counting drummer, Matt Covey as a man) has started a Kickstarter campaign to get the album released to the masses on good ole vinyl. We’re considering taking out a loan for a house in Southeastern Connecticut just so we can pledge $100 to have Chef Jon Logan come cook us some ramen! If you can’t afford a mortgage, or the $100 for that matter, head over and check out the other less ridiculous options they have for donating to the cause. These are extremely hardworking guys, making incredibly important music and you’re lucky enough to have a chance to be a part of it! You won’t regret it. Trust us, this one has Album of the Year contender written all over it. To prove our point, we’re premiering the smooth af, debut single “Classic Cars”. Check it out below!

Being lazy assholes, we don’t normally volunteer for more work than we already have, but after listening to the debut track from these Dutch dynamos, we reached out to them and begged to premiere the second single from their upcoming album, Swinging For The Fences (due out on April 20th via White Russian Records). Luckily, the fantastic five piece didn’t think we were too stalker-y and sent over “My Own Vegas” exclusively for our dear readers! When we asked the lads about the new EP, they told us, “Having been a band for over twelve years now, we’ve had our fair share of ups and downs. Seven tours through Europe are among our absolute highs, but there have been moments when we were close to throwing in the towel. With the upcoming release of Swinging for the Fences all these highs and lows come packed in seven melodic and emotional punk rock songs. We can definitely say that this is our best work yet. And we can’t wait to bring it out there. For us, this track represents all that: not giving up despite the hardships on your path. Besides, it carries the title of our record in an outro we hope you’ll never forget.” We’re betting you won’t! Stream it below!
