Despite their recent inner turmoil, Paramore has captured the heart of the voting masses. They won “Favorite Rock Band” at last night’s People’s Choice Awards. A note from Taylor posted to their site about the win reads:
Thank you for voting for us. Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for believing in us. Despite everything that has happened recently, thank you for sticking with us. You mean more to us than you will ever know.
Singer Hayley Williams recently sat down with MTV to respond to the exit statement issued by departing band members Josh and Zac Farro, who split from the group in December.
Paramore’s most recent album, “Brand New Eyes,” came out last year on Fueled By Ramen.
