So here’s something I’m genuinely conflicted about. Portland hardcore punks Poison Idea have just released a new music video for their track “Calling All Ghosts”, wherein one of the band’s members is kidnapped and brainwashed into pulling a Travis Bickle and assassinating Donald Trump. On a the one hand, part of me is always a little nervous when a music video blatantly calls for violence (especially in these times). That said, there is something soothing about seeing Trump’s goonish facade through the lens of a sniper scope.
Along with the video, Poison Idea also released a series of upcoming tour dates that will see the band traveling throughout California, later this month. Check out both the video and the tour dates below.
