I don’t know about you, but this story just made my Monday. New York’s progressive/melodic hardcore/whatever-you-want-to-call-them band Polar Bear Club will start recording a brand new full-length album with producer Brian McTernan this week.
Vocalist Jimmy Stadt says “Everyone says how excited they are about their new record and we are no exception. We really have never been this excited about making a record and cannot wait to have it out there. It’s PBC for sure and you can decide what’s different about it from prior records for yourselves – the bottom line is we are thrilled about these songs and feel like we are in a really good place as a band as a result of them.”
Release specifics are still under wraps, but expect the record to hit stores some time this summer via Bridge Nine Records.
