Every once in a while the punk rock geniuses here at Dying Scene unleash a tasty little nugget of punk rock trivia in an effort to blow our readers’ minds. Also, we like to make ourselves feel smart. Today’s fun factoid is about NOFX‘s song “Murder The Government.”
“Murder The Governement” is a 45 second long song that appeared on NOFX’s 1998 album “So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes.” If you own the album you already know this, but you might not know that there are actually two different versions of this song floating around. A straight ahead punk rock version appeared on the CD while a more ska-centric version appeared on LP and cassette. You can listen to both and decide which one you like most right here.
