Bad Religion upcoming album release date confirmed

According to an exclusive by the Bad Religion fan site, the release date of the long-awaited new Bad Religion album has been announced. According to the site, which features a “new album countdown,” it’s scheduled to be released on September 28, 2010.

Almost exactly three years have passed since Bad Religion released their last studio album, New Maps of Hell. The band has been recording their new album with producer Joe Barresi (Tool, Kyuss, The Melvins, Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer). The still-untitled new album will likely include the new song “Resist-Stance”, which was performed live by the band on its spring 2010 tour, and can also be found on the band’s free 30 Years Live album.

As previously reported, a North American tour is planned for this October and a South American tour for early next year.
