Due to a back injury incurred by Vocalist/ Bassist Tom Aray, Slayer has announced that they will be postponing their UK/European tour. The tour was set to start November 18th in the UK and take the band throughout Europe into December. The tour will now be scheduled to kick off March 7th in Manchester, England. Click here for a list of the new dates.
Slayer also announced last week that they will be postponing the Canadian Carnage East Coast tour that they are to co-headline with Megadeth to February of 2010, but no dates on this one yet.
Rick Sales, the band’s manager, had this to say:
Our main concern must be the full and permanent recovery of Tom, so we have decided to clear the calendar and give him the extra time he needs to concentrate solely on good health.
