According to Asian Man Records The Smoking Popes are currently in the studio working on their next full length album.
Matt Allison at ATLAS STUDIOS in Chicago is doing the producing and this can only mean good things for fans of the popes. Why is that you ask? Well, that means they’ll start venturing away from the Midwest and doing shows in other parts of the world. California? Please….
The band released, It’s Been A Long Day in February on Asian Man Records. The release contained the band’s 1st three 7 inches, Innoculator, BreakUp, and 2 as well as a previously unreleased track.
