s hardcore/punk/ska band, Star Fucking Hipsters, announced that they will be releasing their 2nd full-length, “Never Rest In Peace” October 20th on Alternative Tentacles. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they are leaving Fat Wreck Chords, who released their last album “Until We’re Dead” last September. According to the band, they’ll be releasing more new material with Fat later this year, possibly in collaboration with The Slackers.
In regards to “Rest In Peace” the band comments:
…this new record is our best sounding since Choking Victim’s “No Gods/ No Managers”, now, of course 10 years later the content might not be exactly similar, but we did hi-jack Dick & Jasper (subhumans/citizen fish) for a couple of our better tunes…
