Bummer! Such Gold has been forced to pull out of their upcoming tour dates due to a band member getting involved in an incident.
“Due to a serious incident involving a member of the band, we regret to inform everyone that we will not be participating in the ‘Manscout Jamboree Tour’ this April/May. More details surrounding the cancellation will follow shortly. We sincerely apologize for any disappointment this may cause, we promise to see you soon.”
And later they updated the general public with:
“We appreciate the support. We want you all to know that this is a serious situation, we were looking forward to this tour so much, and to have to cancel on such tough circumstances is a bummer to ALL of us. We will however after everything is better, make it up to everyone! Thank you again for the love and support!”
No word yet on the actual incident, but rumor has it that frontman Ben Kotin was stabbed at a party after Such Gold’s Boston show. Yikes! If that’s the case, here’s to ya, Ben. Hope for a speedy recovery.
