Sum 41 recently posted a photo of their singer Deryck Whibley in the studio on their official Facebook Page with the following caption, “I go to work.” In addition, they posted photos of Whibley and guitarist Tom Thacker jamming together in the studio as well as photos of the band’s instruments and equipment. These posts indicate that Sum 41 has been back in the studio recording their long-awaited new album. We’ll keep you posted as more details on the situation come to light.
Sum 41 released their last album Screaming Bloody Murder on Island Records in 2011. The band has been auditioning a replacement for their longtime drummer Stevo, who left the band a year ago.
