Sum 41 have posted another update to their MySpace page blog regarding the status and condition of frontman Deryck Whibley, who was hospitalized after being attacked in a bar while in Japan.
Fans looking forward to seeing the band on the rest of their Warped Tour dates, will be bummed to know that the band will not be appearing. They issued the following statement:
“Whibley’s condition has not improved. Knowing that they are unable to deliver their signature high energy show, Sum 41 made the tough decision that a break is needed while Deryck begins rehabilitation for the slipped disk.”
