Vinnie Caruana has been a busy man since his first big band initially went on hiatus a handful of years ago, but now it seems like things are ramping up in The Movielife camp again!
The longtime Long Island-based melodic hardcore staples have announced a handful of US and UK tour dates that’ll all take place in May. Head below for details, particularly if you live in or around New York, Philly, Boston, or the Slam Dunk Festival.
Perhaps more noteworthy, however, is the announcement that the band have signed to Rise Records and are in the process of recording what will become their first studio album since 2003’s Forty Hour Train Back To Penn. There’s no formal release info at this point (aside from that the album is due out this fall), but here’s what Caruana had to say about the project:
“It’s not easy visualizing what a Movielife record would sound like in 2017. We wrote and wrote and wrote, and got to an amazing place. This is not a comeback record; this is something truly special. This album is a project we are both immensely proud of and can’t wait to share it with the world. Full steam ahead.”
Stay tuned!
