The Offspring guitarist hints at spring 2012 tour

The Offspring guitarist Noodles just announced on the band’s Twitter that they’re planning to hit the road again around the spring of next year to celebrate the release of their long-awaited new album. Here’s what he wrote, “Once the record is done, we’ll start touring. Probably in the spring.”

No official dates have been released yet but we’ll keep you posted.

After much speculation and many false starts, the band officially entered the studio earlier this month to begin recording their new album, which is supposed to be released sometime in mid-to-late 2012. Reports are also saying that the record will be mixed in January or February. Once out, it will be The Offspring’s first album in 4 years, since 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace.
