The Offspring to continue recording new album after touring

As soon as they wrap up touring, The Offspring will be heading back into the studio to continue recording their highly-anticipated new full-length album, their first since 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace and their first “proper” release with new drummer Pete Parada (formerly of Saves the Day and Face to Face), who has been with the band since 2007.

The band is currently in the middle of touring with 311. Hit up their Dying Scene Shows page for dates and locations. They will also play some dates in Japan next month.

While we continue to wait for the new album to arrive, The Offspring is planning a Japanese exclusive CD, titled Happy Hour, with a random assortment of covers, rarities and hits included. It is due out August 4th.
