The Slackers have been working on a release they’ve tentatively titled “Lost & Found”. The album is going to include tracks from 1998 to 2007 that never saw the light of day. There will be a mix of originals that never made their way to an actual album, as well as alternate versions of older songs or covers.
Says the band:
So its gonna be a fun, diverse album with a lot of variety in musical styles. Right now we are working on around 20 tracks which are being considered for being included.
The Slackers also stated that they are working on new songs and plan on recording them this fall for a brand new album that will come out sometime next year.
The band released their last album “Self Medication” on Indication Records last year.
