Todd Beene might be best known in these parts for his kick ass pedal steel work with Lucero or, more recently, with Chuck Ragan and the Camaraderie. What you may not know is that Beene is a pretty formidable singer and songwriter in his own right.
Today brings with it the premier of a brand new song called “We Miss You.” It’s from Beene’s upcoming solo album entitled “I Can’t Be Serious.” There’s no official release date for “I Can’t Be Serious,” since it’s not actually done yet. You see, as Beene says, the plan is that “(e)very 10 days or so I will write, record, and release a new song until the album is finished.” Pretty cool idea. Check out the “We Miss You” below, and stay tuned for more in the coming weeks! Just don’t mess with his family his friends or his dog…then it’s on.
