Tom DeLonge teases upcoming Blink-182 album info

So I was lurking around some Blink-182 sites, looking to see when this 6th album of theirs is coming out, when I stumbled upon an interview with Tom DeLonge where he gives out some interesting information.

He tells two possible song names: “Ghost On The Dancefloor” and “Genesis (Snake Charmer)”. Tom redundantly describes “Dancefloor” as “big” and “epic” and one of his favorites. “Snake Charmer” is supposed to be about Adam and Eve… Interesting.

The album is supposed to have this fast, new-wave sound to it, really melodic. Tom goes so far as to say no other band is sounding like this (but what band doesn’t say that?). Whether or not this is good news or bad news for Blink-182, we’ll have to wait until June to find out.

Oh yeah, the album is supposed to be out this June. Do I believe it? Not really, because this album was supposed to come out in 2009. It better be good. I’m sick of bands releasing mediocre albums after a hiatus (*cough cough* Offspring *cough cough*)

If you don’t believe me at all about this interview, you can read it right here.

Untitled Blink-182 Album #6 will be the followup to their untitled/self-titled 2003 release.
