Tony Sly, lead singer of legendary punk band No Use For A Name, has been playing around with some solo stuff for a while but it seems he’s finally written enough material for a full album. According to a post on his myspace blog he’ll be heading to Motor Studios this September to begin recording, shooting for a January release.
For old school NUFAN fans, you may find this news even more exciting: Tony says he’ll begin writing for the next No Use For A Name album soon, stating:
I’m excited about this as well. I think it will end up being pretty punk and hard as I am getting the mellow out of my system with the solo stuff.
