Vans Warped Tour has announced the full lineup for this year’s edition. The North American portion of the tour will run from June 21st in Pamona, CA to October 5th where it will end in West Palm Beach, FL.
Founder Kevin Lyman says that he is “truly am happy to get the chance to travel around the country one more time to thank you for your support, and bring you another best day ever.” The team will be welcoming numerous bands that have been a part of the tour over the last 24 years back for the final run. Attendees will be able to catch classic bands like Reel Big Fish, Simple Plan, Less Than Jake, Underoath, The Used, Sum 41, and Taking Back Sunday – to name a few. There will also be a generous amount of up and coming acts like Movements, Grayscale, Real Friends, and State Champs – among many others.
This year will be a big finale for everyone at Warped Tour. Sierra Lyman explained that this year’s non-profit presence at the shows will be huge and filled with many worthy causes that the tour hopes to boost one last time as they have over the last two decades.
I am very excited about the upcoming year. With it being the last tour, the non-profit presence will be as big as ever. Groups who have been out in the past will be coming out in more markets, and hopefully we will attract new non-profits. With more non-profits coming out there will be more options for our audience to hopefully get involved before, during, and after the tour. I am hoping that this last year encourages non-profits to partner with bands and for bands to partner with non-profits on their own events and tours once this summer is over.
Vans Warped Tour 2018 was revealed with a special 3-minute YouTube video, which you can watch below for an entire recap as well as things that concert-goers can expect at the shows this year. You can also view a full list of confirmed dates and locations, including stage schedules and individual band appearances below.
Tickets for Super Fan Bundles are currently on sale here, with general admission tickets going on sale March 8th.
Founded in 1995, Vans Warped Tour has become one of the largest and longest running travelling music festivals in the world, becoming a significant piece of alternative music scenes globally. It will come to an end after this year’s run.
