Video: Street Dogs perform at youth union awareness rally at AFL-CIO headquarters

Boston punks Street Dogs visited AFL-CIO headquarters in Washington, DC this past Monday Dec. 13th to perform at a “youth union awareness rally.”

Within the video there are short clips of frontman Mike McColgan talking about the similarities between punk and labor unions. The band also performed a couple of songs including “Unions And The Law,” “Tobe’s Got A Drinking Problem,” as well as “There is Power In A Union” and “Up The Union” with Wayne Kramer. The band is currently killing it en route to Boston where they’ll be performing a couple of residency shows at the Paradise Rock Club.
