Blind Man Death Stare Bio:
In the summer of 2015, after a 4 year hiatus, Brisbane punk band "The Pints" reformed under the new moniker - blind Man Death Stare. After recruiting a new bass player who plays bass in Billy No Mates, with the one and only Duncan Redmonds of Snuff. Mitch relocated to Melbourne after a gruelling year of touring and not practicing 2 states away.
After writing some song touring started right away. sharing the stage with some of their favourite bands including: SNFU, Guttermouth, Topnovil, The Decline, Area 7, Fireballs and a stack of awesome Aussie bands.
Mid 2015, they released the "Born a Centimetre from the Finish Line” EP. Recorded with Jason Fuller of Bloodduster, at Goat Sound Studios in a couple days. Upon release, this would see the band on their very first headline tour of not only Australia, but New Zealand also.
The Ep was featured in Blunt mag and a stack of zines including Beat, Warp, The Music, Bombshell zine with sick reviews. One shit one. we are honest. The artwork scored 12th in Happy.com for 2015, alongside Tame Impala and some other shit bands.
One of the songs, 'Old people should grow up’, made it into Brisbane’s 4zzz Top 100. There's limited copies left so try to grab one from the merch stand at a show, If you can...
The talented Joel Parnell has just entered the fold, on skinny guitar.
