Guided By Voices announce first album in 8 years

Get ready to go back in time for something that can bring back memories! 90’s favorites Guided By Voices are back together and they are releasing a new album. It’s called Let’s Go Eat the Factory and it’s coming out on New Year’s Day (January 1st) in 2012. However, it won’t be released on their longtime home Matador Records, so the band appears to be free agents. Let’s Go Eat the Factory will be the Guided By Voices’ first studio album since 2004’s Half Smiles of the Decomposed and their first with the “classic” lineup of Robert Pollard, Tobin Sprout, Greg Demos, Mitch Mitchell and Kevin Fennell since 1996’s Under the Bushes Under the Stars.
