Welcome to Cleaning Out The Inbox, where we share the records, videos, and singles that were sent to us from all over and conveniently presented to you. This week we have stuff from None Shall Sleep, Slim Jim Carrey, Stephen Egerton, and Old Sparky. Let’s dig in.
None Shall Sleep – Bread and Circuses
New Jersey’s None Shall Sleep released their newest album Bread and Circuses on August 22nd. The record includes the song, “If Not Now,” and is full of the punk rock angst you’d expect from these punk rock veterans. You can check out the track below
Slim Jim Carrey – Alright Then
This week’s award for the band with the best mashup is Slim Jim Carrey. Punk rock from Maine has never sounded so damn good. They recently released their EP, Alrighty Then, on Ninja Yeti Records. They’ve released a video for their song “Crack the Code”:
Stephen Egerton – I Think You’re Over Thinking This
When Stephen Egerton is not noodling his guitar for the Descendents, he’s been working on a solo album of his own. I Think You’re Over Thinking This is his first solo record in sixteen years. As with his previous record, Egerton recorded the instruments at the legendary Abbey Road Recording Studio. Check out the latest single, “Roland Grace” below:
Stephen is on the road with the Descendents and Social Distortion, but you can catch him playing a solo set at Riot Fest on the Radical Stage on 9/18/2026 at 4:15 PM.
Old Sparky – Mad At The World
Formed in 2018 and Hailing from Muenster, Germany is Old Sparky. Finding that sweet spot between old school, skate, and melodic punk, Old Sparky released their latest album, Mad At The World earlier this year. Check out a track off the album below:
