DJ Shadow and Ice Cube release "Nobody Wants to Die"

DJ Shadow and Ice Cube have released a stand alone digital single. It's called "Nobody Wants to Die." The tune is a rare track from 2016 that wa sonly previously available on the video game Mafia III. DJ Shadow also announced the release of The Mountain Will Fall 10th Anniversary Edition, available via Mass Appeal. You can hear the tune below.

Cabaret Voltaire have announced their final tour dates. The band will be playing the East Coast and then wrapping up their final trek in Europe. You can see the dates below.

Sex Pistols to re-release 'Filthy Lucre Live'

Sex Pistols will are going to re-release their '90s reunion live album. Filthy Lucre Live is out November 20, 2026 via Universal. It will include the Japanese bonus tracks “No Fun” and “Buddies” (a crowd sing-along version of Bodies) – for the first time. In a press release, Guitarist Steve Jones stated “It was 20 years on from when we initially broke up in ‘78 and it was always a debate that the pistols couldn’t play. I think Filthy Lucre shows not only that we can play but we are a powerhouse. Long live rock’n’roll.” Drummer Paul Cook said: “It wasn’t all about the ‘filthy lucre’ – that title was always ironic – it was about getting the original lineup behind Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols back together and showing what we could really do. I loved it.” You can see the track list below.

Sincere Engineer record Audiotree Live Session

Sincere Engineer has recorded an Audiotree Live session. The band played “Twist My Tongue” and “Fast Forward, Rewind” from their recently released album Probable Claws along with “California King” and “Trust Me” from their 2023 album Cheap Grills and “Corn Dog Sonnet No. 7” from their 2017 album Rhombithian. Punk Rock Bowling announces new event in LA

Punk Rock Bowling has announced a new event. The event is October 9-10 in Downtown LA and is titled "Fight to Unite." As per the organizers, "Immigrant communities are under attack. We’re gathering to raise funds for organizations doing direct support, advocacy, and legal work on the ground. Music. Community. Solidarity. Save the date. More details coming soon!" acts have not yet been announced. We'll keep you updated.

The Linda Lindas to release new album, share "Closer" with Hayley Williams

The Linda Lindas have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Gotta Get Out and will be out on August 28 via Reprise/Warner Records. The album features twelve new songs, including their recently released single "Burning Out". The band has also released a video for their new song “Closer” which is a collaboration with Hayley Williams. The video was directed by Tris Angela. The Linda Lindas released their album No Obligation in 2024. Check out the video and tracklist below.
