Alkaline Trio stream acoustic version of “This Could Be Love” off upcoming album “Damnesia”

Alkaline Trio are giving us another taste of their upcoming release “Damnesia” in the form of an acoustic version of “This Could Be Love” (the original, “plugged-in” version appeared on the band’s 2003 album “Good Mourning”).  You can check out the new version of the song here and if you want to compare it to the original, you can listen to that right right here.

“Damnesia” will feature a selection of fan favorites played semi-unplugged, and the album will also feature two brand new songs.  “Olde English 800″ and “I Remember A Rooftop” will join a cover of the Violent Femmes’ “I Held Her In My Arms” as the only completely original content on the record.  The album will be released July 12th on the band’s own label Heart & Skull Records.
