Corrosion of Conformity begin work on new material

As of late, Corrosion of Conformity are back in the studio recording new material for a 5-song EP and apparently their next full-length. They have posted pictures from the studio, which you can find here. They simply wrote:

“Tracking some new songs in Raleigh, NC.”

Another update was also posted yesterday, which read “Mike Dean laying some bulldozer bass down on the new tunes.”

No release date for the new EP or full-length have been announced, but it a 2013 release date is likely.

C.O.C., who were once a “punk” act, released a self-titled album last February on Candlelight Records. They just recently announced a reissue of their long-out of print 1984 debut Eye for an Eye.
