Christ, this looks like it was a fun show. The Dropkick Murphys have granted us a view of a live performance of their ever-popular tune I’m Shipping Up To Boston, backed by members of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. The venue looks like a House Of Blues. That coupled with the sea of green hats, etc., that compose a majority of the crowd leads me to believe that this is from their upcoming live DVD from last St. Patty’s Day’s performance(s) in Boston. I’ve gotta say that I’m pretty damn jealous of those of you going to this year’s St. Patty’s shows, although I’ll be cruising around Long Beach on a double-decker full of Guinness watching Orange County’s own Celto-punk band, The American Wake (MySpace/Facebook), play.
