My Chemical Romance horrify Glenn Beck

You’ll recall that last week, we brought you a story about the Westboro Baptist Church protesting a Less Than Jake show. This week brings us a very similar, equally ice-cream-headache-inducing story.

The ‘wingnut o’ the week’ this time is Glenn Beck, and the band is My Chemical Romance. Confused as to what the connection could possibly be? Oh, keep reading…

Mr. Beck apparently thought this week was the perfect time to use his Fox News show as a platform to discuss an episode of “Glee” that he watched two months ago. In that episode, the cast of the show performed “Sing” by My Chemical Romance. Beck calls the performance brilliant, but proceeds to dissect the lyrics word-by-word, deride the song as “propaganda,” and use it as an intro to a brief story about his half-Korean Chief of Staff, who grew up without a TV.  See, crystal clear now!

I’ve watched the clip four times, and consider myself an intelligent chap, and I haven’t the foggiest idea what he’s actually talking about. Oh, and he gets MCR’s name wrong. Anyway, watch the whole segment here and see if you can decipher it.
