Jawbox release surprise EP

Jawbox have surprise-released an EP called The Revisionist. This is their first new music in 26 years. The EP features two reworked versions of "Grip" and "Consolation" from their 1991 album Grippe and a cover of "Lowdown" by Wire. Check out the EP below.

Armor For Sleep announce first new album in 15 years, release "How Far Apart" video

Armor For Sleep have announced that they will be releasing their first new album in 15 years. It is called The Rain Museum and will be out September 9 via Equal Vision Records. The band have also released a video for their song "How Far Apart" that was directed by Jesse Korman. Armor For Sleep released their LP Smile for Them in 2007 and their EP The Way Out Is Broken in 2008. Check out the video and tracklist below.

AJJ cancel shows due to COVID positivity

AJJ have announced that they are cancelling two shows on their ongoing summer tour due to someone in their touring party testing positive for COVID-19. The shows affected are tonight's show at Metro in Chicago and July 10's show at The Varsity in Minneapolis. The band announced the news in an Instagram post that reads, "Hi gang, it is with even greater sadness that we are writing to inform you that due to covid-19, our shows in Chicago and Minneapolis with Open Mike Eagle are canceled. We will continue quarantining, treating and testing diligently until we are covid clear. Future shows are subject to change, and we hope we don’t have to cancel any more than the three we have already canceled. This is a good time to encourage you to mask up at shows. Fingers crossed! Los Angeles based punks Egg Drop Soup have released a new song. The song is called "Jimmy Eat Shit" and is part of Suicide Squeeze Records' Pinks & Purples singles series. Egg Drop Soup released Regicide Compilation in 2022 and their EP Eat Snacks And Bleed in 2020. Check out the song below.

Tours: Dangers announce summer shows

California based hardcore punk band, Dangers have announced a few show this Summer in the New York, Boston and Toronto area, see below. Dangers last released The Bend in the Break in 2016.

Blondie: "I Love You Honey, Give Me A Beer"

Blondie have released a demo song called "I Love You Honey, Give Me A Beer". This demo would eventually become "Go Through It" that was on their 1980 album Autoamerican. The demo is off their upcoming box set Blondie: Against The Odds 1974-1982 that will be out August 26. Blondie will be touring the US with The Damned this summer and released Pollinator in 2017. Pussy Riot announce mixtape, release "PLASTIC" video

Pussy Riot have announced that they will be releasing a new mixtape. It is called MATRIARCHY NOW and will be out August 5 via Neon Gold Records. They have released a video for their new song "PLASTIC" that features iLoveMakonnen. The video was directed by Haley Bowman. Pussy Riot released their EP Panic Attack in 2021.
