Fat Mike has cancelled his upcoming Los Angeles and Bakersfield shows. The shows were set for later this month. A statement released on Instagram reads, ”Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen family matter, we will be cancelling our Los Angeles and Bakersfield Fat Mike Gets Strung Out shows. We apologize to all of you ticket holders and hope we can make it up to you in the near future. Refunds will be given at point of purchase.” Fat Mike released his solo album Fat Mike Gets Strung Out last month.

Better Lovers have announced the lineup and details for their first holiday show called Blissmas. Along with Better Lovers, It Dies Today, The Callous Daoboys, Greyhaven, and Spaced will also be playing the show. A toy drive for Toys For Tots will also be hosted at the show. It will take place on December 8 at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo and tickets go on sale October 6. Better Lovers are currently touring the UK and will be touring the US next week. The band released their debut EP God Made Me An Animal earlier this year.

The Dirty Nil and Dooms Children (the solo project of Wade MacNeil of Alexisonfire) have teamed up to release two alternate versions of their songs. The songs are “Flower Moon” which appeared on Dooms Children’s 2021 self-titled album and “The Light, The Void, and Everything” which appeared on the Dirty Nil’s album Free Rein to Passions that was released earlier this year. Both songs have accompanying videos that were directed and edited by Mitch Barnes and shot by Noah Kahin, The songs are available now via Dine Alone Records. Check out the videos below.

Laura Jane Grace has released a new solo song called “Dysphoria Hoodie”. The song comes with a lyric video created by Juliet Bryant and will be on her upcoming solo album.
