Festivals & Events: The Jesus and Mary Chain, OFF!, L7, Viagra Boys, Pleasure Venom, more to play Levitation Festival

Texas based Levitation Festival has announced the first wave lineup for this year's festival. OFF!, Osees, The Jesus and Mary Chain, King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, L7, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Death Valley Girls, Pleasure Venom, Viagra Boys, Shame, Soft Kill, Hunx and His Punx, and Fuck Money are among the bands announced. The festival will take place October 27, 28, 29, and 30 in Austin, Texas. Check out the lineup in full below.

Danny Elfman announces remix album, releases "Kick Me" remix with Iggy Pop

Danny Elfman has announced that he will be releasing a remixed version of his 2021 album Big Mess called Bigger. Messier.. The album features remixes from Trent Reznor, HEALTH, Xiu Xiu, Iggy Pop, Boris, Fever 333 and The Locust among others. The album will be out August 12 via Epitaph Records. A video (created by Carrie Chen and Berit Gwendolyn Gilma) for a new version of "Kick Me" featuring Iggy Pop has also been released. The track features new arrangement from Iggy Pop and Leron Thomas along with additional mixing by Pete Rutcho. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Videos: Sincere Engineer: "Bottle Lightning Twice"

Sincere Engineer has released a video for new song "Bottle Lightning Twice". The video was filmed by Eric Mott & Joesph Klomes and was written and directed by Deanna Belos. The song is a standalone single and is out now via Hopeless Records. Sincere Engineer will be touring the US solo with Covey in July and August and will be touring Europe as a full band with Joyce Manor and The Menzingers in the fall. Sincere Engineer released Bless My Psyche in 2021. Check out the video below.

Festivals & Events: Loud Women Festival announce first wave lineup

UK based Loud Women festival has announced the first wave lineup for this year. Rabies Babies, Hotwax, Muff, Chroma, Pink Suits, Bugeye, Charley Stone, Currls, deux furieuses, Deuxes, Fraulein, Gilan, Girlcrush, I, Doris, Killdren, Lambrini Girls, Lilith Ai, Queen Cult, and Snoozers have been announced so far. The festival will take place September 2 and 3 at Amersham Arms in London, UK.

Postage working on new album

Postage have announced that they will be releasing a new LP soon. The LP will be out via Dirt Cult Records and was produced by Andrew Berlin at The Blasting Room. The band announced this in an Instagram post that reads, " LP2 coming soon from @dirtcultrecords Nine new sad songs and one oldie on a one sided LP produced by Andrew Berlin at @theblastingroom includes free tracking." Postage released their self-titled album in 2021.

Videos: Sonagi: "Attachment Theory"

Sonagi have released a video for their new song "Attachment Theory". The video was directed and edited by Michael Englisis and features live footage from Hate5six and Feet First Productions. The song is off the band's upcoming album Precedent that will be out July 22 via Get Better Records. Sonagi will be touring the US and Canada this summer and released their single "pansori 판소리" in 2020. Check out the video below.

Private Function announce two new members

Australian punks Private Function have announced two new members have joined the band. The new additions are guitarists Lauren Hester (who also directed their video for "Give War A Chance") and Anthony Biancofiore. The band announced the new lineup in a statement on Instagram that reads,PF GOT TWO NEW MEMBERS We got the oldest dude we know and the youngest chick we’ve ever met to join the band. They are an unstoppable force of pure chaos and they’re coming to destroy you. PRAY TO YOUR NEW GODS. Private Function released Whose Line Is It Anyway? in 2020.
