The Menstrual Cramps have released a video for their new song “Body Politics”. The video was recorded and edited by Dory Valentine and was filmed at Dixon Road Studios. The song is out now via Alcopop! Records. The Menstrual Cramps released their album Free Bleedin’ in 2018. Check out the video below.

Canadian festival Vertigo Music Festival has announced its lineup for 2024. Single Mothers, Mvll Crimes, Pkew Pkew Pkew, Sleepy Jean, Gravely James, Jon Lepp, Days on Parade, Sunshine Express, Over It, and Zach Bury will be playing the festival. Vertigo Music Festival will take place on February 10 at Isaac’s Bar and Grill at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario.

In December 2024 (not 2023), The Damned will play the UK. As previously announced, original drummer Rat Scabies is back in the band. So, the band now includes all original members (Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies) except Brian James, Black Album and Strawberries era Paul Gray, and long time member Monty Oxymoron. On the tour, the band will play songs from Black Album and Strawberries because the lineup now matches the contributors to those albums and some other hits. You can see the dates below.

Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes have released a video for their new song “Brambles”. The song is off their upcoming album Dark Rainbow which will be out on January 26, 2024. The band will start their world tour in the UK in February. Frank Carter and The Rattlesnakes released their album Sticky in 2021. Check out the video below.

Spanish music festival Road to Rio Babel has announced its lineup for 2024. Green Day, The Hives, The Interrupters, Lagwagon, Emlan, 3OS4OS5OS, and Maid of Ace will be playing the festival. Road to Rio Babel will take place on June 1 at Baja Magica, Madrid.
