Baroness release new song, "Shine"

Baroness have released a new song called “Shine”. The song is off their upcoming album Stone which will be out on September 15. Baroness will be touring North America starting in October and released their album Gold & Grey in 2019. Check out the song below.

New punk horror movie directed by Paul "Duck" Tucker of Joystick! in the works

Paul “Duck” Tucker, the lead vocalist of New Orleans-based ska punk band Joystick!, has a new horror movie in the works. He is directing and producing the movie along with producer and cinematographer Jeff Van Gerwen. The movie is called Amityvillenado and centers around the exploits of two punk rockers who return to their hometown to see a legendary punk band but get more than they bargained for when a house is destroyed by a tornado and dead bodies start popping up. Many musicians appear in the movie including Clay Aleman and Mickey Retzlaff of Joystick!, Will Hoffpauir and Christian Sabin of Rich Octopus, Jib Haddan of Daybreak, Zach Quinn of PEARS, Greg Rodrigue of Bad Operation, and Jessica Jeansonne of Flying Raccoon Suit. Members of Shidded, Brat, Kawaii AF, BWTF, Old Olibo, and Slab will also appear. Amityvillenado has an Indiegogo campaign set up to help finish the movie. Check out a video about the movie below.

The Subjunctives have released a video for their new song “Its A Shame We Didn’t Get More Time Lance”. The song is a tribute to Lance Hahn of J-Church. A statement released along with the song reads in part, “Every vignette in this song relates a true experience, from the Promethean moment where Ean was inspired by Lance's intellectual happy-go-lucky music, to the sad moment overseas when he learned that Lance had passed.” The song is off their upcoming album Let’s Try This Again which will be out on September 15. The Subjunctives released Sunshine and Rainbows in 2019. Check out the video below.

Orson Wilds: "Gin and Tonic"

Orson Wilds have released a video for their new song “Gin and Tonic”. The video features footage from Francois Truffaut’s 1959 movie The 400 Blows. The song is off their upcoming album This Burning House (We All Fell Asleep In) which will be out September 15 via Take This To Heart Records. END announce new album, release video for "Gaping Wounds Of Earth"

END have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called The Sin of Human Frailty and will be out on October 27 via Closed Casket Activities. The band has also released a video for their new song “Gaping Wounds Of Earth” which was directed by Eric Richter. END will be touring the US and Canada with Full of Hell this fall. The band released their split with Cult Leader in 2022 and their album Splinters from an Ever-Changing Face in 2020. Check out the video below.
