Bronze Avery starts a ‘HEATWAVE’ with ‘THE ONE (IF U TOUCH ME)’

Those who have yet to check out “THE ONE (IF U TOUCH ME),” the latest self-release by Orlando-born and Los Angeles-based songwriter Bronze Avery, have a chance to get ahead of the curve. This early contender for Song of the Summer has, somehow, gone criminally under the radar. A follow-up to Avery’s 2022 full-length album SOFTMETAL, “THE ONE” is just part of his forthcoming project HEATWAVE, a self-described “collection of summer songs made to make you sweat.” The track, which […]

RIOTNINE declare ‘death before detransition’ on spirited debut EP

Pride may become popular every June, but queer and trans artists exist just as loudly across the other 11 months of the calendar. And they’re hardly backing down. Milwaukee-based post-punk skramz band RIOTNINE‘s new EP death before detransition is a staunch example. Zendaya serves love-love in the ‘Challengers’ trailer

Now that the MCU Spider-Man movies are on hold, Dune Part II has wrapped, and Sam Levinson has moved on to perpetually reshooting HBO’s The Idol, it seems Zendaya might actually have some free time. Well, more free time than she previously had, given that she seems to be one of the world’s busiest people. This means we get the opportunity to see her do more wonderfully weird shit, like star in our fave Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers, a rom-com sports […]
