Billie Joe Armstrong joins cover band in pub to sing “Basket Case”

Here's a fun little story. Recently, a cover band called Borderline Toxic was playing a set at Slim Jim’s Liquor Store in London. Well, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day happened to be there. so, he jumped on stage and played "Basket Case" with the band. You can see the video below.

Dez Cadena and Jesse Malin on new Jon Caspi 7-inch

New Jersey's Jon Caspi and First Gun have released a new 7-inch single. Side A features Jesse Malin (D Generation) and Dez Cadena (Black Flag, The MisFits) playing a track called "Hang 'Em High.". Side B is Dez Cadena doing vocals on the Black Flag "Nervous Breakdown". This is the only studio recording ever of Dez singing lead on the song. That's out now via Fake Chapter records. Dave Lombardo featured on Amoeba Music's 'What's In My Bag?' series

Dave Lombardo, formerly of Slayer and now the drummer for The Misfits recently appeared on Amoeba's "What's in my bag." In the program, artists talk about cool records they got at the shop. Lombardo also just released a solo record. You can watch the episode below.

Bitters and Distractions signs to Sell The Heart Records

Bitters and Distractions, the acoustic punk duo from Long Island, New York, has signed with Sell The Heart Records. They're planning for a release in late 2023. You can see the band's latest video, "Existentialism in a Car," below.

Sticks and Stones digitally re-releases most of discography

Sticks and Stones, the New Jersey punk band that included Pietro Ventantonio aka Jack Terrilcoth of World/Inferno friendship Society, has digitally re-released most of their catalogue. the campaign includes most of the band's 7-inchers, both albums, and even the rare Inner Revolt cassette. You can find it on iTunes, Amazon Music, and Spotify.
