Toronto-based indie rockers madfolk have announced their signing to Royal Mountain Records. The band has also released a video for their first single on the label called “Katherine”. The video was directed by Nicky Koro. madfolk released their album Floor Turned Blue in 2025. Check out the video below.

San Jose-based screamo band SUPERWORLD, which features members of SPY, Leer, and Stickup Kid, have announced that they will be releasing their debut album. It is called Super World and will be out on February 13 via Lauren Records. The album features 10 tracks, including their previously released songs “Surefire”, “Dark Upper”, “Eraser”, and “Locked Room”. The band has also released a video for their new song “The Dream” which was directed by Thomas Sherry. SUPERWORLD released their debut EP Surefire in 2025. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Dry Socket have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Self Defense Techniques and will be out on March 27 via Get Better Records. The band has also released their first single from the record called “Rigged Survival”. Dry Socket released their split with Violencia in 2025. Check out the song and tracklist below.

Sugar have released a video for their new song “Long Live Love”. The video was created by Lee Gregory at I Love Motion. The song is available digitally now and will be available as a 7-inch along with their 2025 single "House of Dead Memories" on May 1 via BMG. Along with the song, the band has also announced tour dates for Europe, Ireland, the UK, and the US. These dates join their previously announced (and sold out) spring dates in New York and London, UK. Sugar released their box set Copper Blue – The Singles Collection in 2025.
