Festivals & Events: Zulu, Buggin, End It, Move, Soul Glo, more to play The Tribes of Da Moon Festival

The Tribes of Da Moon festival, which started in 2021 as a yearly tour called Dark Side Of Da Moon and was created by members of Move, Buggin, and Zulu, has announced its lineup for this year. Zulu, Buggin, Move, End It, Soul Glo, Adrienne, Ballista, Bazooka, Bleed The Pigs, Burn, Hide, Kharma, Knife Wound, Lustsickpuppy, Playytime, Rebelmatic, Shawty, Thirdface, and Truth Cult will be playing the festival. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 14. The Tribes of Da Moon will take place August 19-20 at the Bowery Ballroom in New York.

Single Mothers: "Quincy"

Single Mothers have released a live video for their new song “Quincy”. The video was directed and edited by Mitch Barnes of Barnburner Films. The song is off their upcoming album Roy which will be out April 28 via Dine Alone Records. Single Mothers will be touring the US and Canada with Off With Their Heads starting in May and released Everything You Need in 2022. Check out the video below.

Speedy Ortiz: "Scabs"

Speedy Ortiz have released their first single in five years. It is called “Scabs” and is out now digitally via Wax Nine. The song was engineered and mixed by Sarah Tudzin of Illuminati Hotties who also provides backing vocals on the track along with Ram Cantu. Speedy Ortiz released Twerp Verse in 2018. Sweet Gloom sign to Asian Man Records, release "Hollywood Love" video

Los Angeles-based indie pop-punk band Sweet Gloom, made up of Jaake Margo of Get Married, Chris Clark of Tiny Stills, and Morris Carrillo of DeTour, have announced that they’ve signed with Asian Man Records. The band also have released a video for their new song “Hollywood Love” which was created by John Lafirira, Justin Nelson, Stephen Johnson, and Anais Osipova. AJ Peacox and Kailynn West also play on the song which is off their upcoming album Reverie which will be out on the label this summer. Sweet Gloom released their single “2015 Kia Optima” in 2022. Superchunk have announced US tour dates for this fall. Cable Ties will be joining them on all dates, marking the Australian band’s first US tour. Public Image Limited announce album details, release video for "Penge" & EU/UK tour dates

Public Image Limited have announced details for their upcoming album. It is called End Of World and will be out on August 11. The album is dedicated to John Lydon’s wife Nora Forster, who passed away at 80 years on April 5 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. In a press release, Lydon said, “Nora loved the album, she wouldn’t have wanted us to postpone it or change any of our plans”. A video for their new song “Penge”, which was directed and filmed by John Rambo Stevens has also been released. Public Image Limited will be touring the UK and Europe in the fall. Snõõper to release debut LP, share "Pod" video

Nashville-based punks Snõõper have announced that they will be releasing their debut full-length album. It is called Super Sn õ õ per and will be out July 14 via Third Man Records. The band has also released a video for their new song “Pod”. The video was created by Blair Tramel. Snõõper will be touring the US and Australia this spring and released their EP Town Topic in 2022.
