AJJ release two new videos, announce US tour dates

AJJ have released two new songs. They are called “Death Machine” and “White Ghosts” and both come with videos. The video for “Death Machine” was directed and filmed by the band’s Sean Bonnette and the video for “White Ghosts” was directed and edited by Mark Glick with animation by Sean Bonnette. Both songs are off their upcoming album Disposable Everything which will be out May 26 via Hopeless Records. AJJ will be playing support for The Front Bottoms this May and will be touring with Oceanator and Gladie beginning later in May. The band released their album Good Luck Everybody in 2020. Direct Hit! and Decent Criminal to release split 7-inch with comic

Decent Criminal and Direct Hit! have announced that they will be releasing a split 7-inch together. The 7-inch will feature “Wasteland” by Direct Hit! (which was released yesterday and will be off their upcoming album) along with an alternate take on their song “Time” and “Dream” (which is a B-side from their upcoming album) by Decent Criminal. The 7-inch comes with issue #1 of Beacon Comics which was written by Nick Woods, Dylan Brown, and Jenny Lapham, and illustrated by Walker Dubois. The comic is described as being a “science fiction comic about a person named Doro, and their robot caretaker Partner, as civilization is reborn from apocalypse.” The 7-inch and comic book will be out on April 28 via Dirtnap Records. Decent Criminal and Direct Hit! will be touring the US together this April.

Videos: Mediocre: "Pop Song Baby"

Mediocre have released a video for their new song “Pop Song Baby”. The video was co-directed by Naomi Ash and the band’s Keely Martin. The song is off their upcoming EP To Know You’re Screwed which will be out April 7 via Dangerbird Records. Mediocre released a handful of singles in 2021 and their EP Emotion Sickness in 2020. Bad Blood announce debut EP, release "Apology Denied" video

Bad Blood, the band made up of Scott Vogel of Terror, Eric Ellman of They Live, Greg Vinal of Exhibition, and Mason Hutchins and Nick Terlecky of Violent Way, have announced that they will be releasing their debut EP. The EP is called The Bad Kind Decides and will be out on March 31 via Flatspot Records. The band have also released a video for their new song “Apology Denied”. The video was directed an edited by Nick Green. Bad Blood will be playing two shows in New York this April. Check out the video, tracklist, and dates below.

Fea release Iggy Pop cover

Fea have released a cover of “Isolation” by Iggy Pop. In an Instagram post, the band said that the cover is “the first track of a new cover series we are releasing”. Fea released their album No Novelties in 2019. Check out the song below.

Problem Patterns release video for "Who Do We Not Save?"

Problem Patterns have released a video for their new song “Who Do We Not Save?”. The video was directed by the band’s Alanah Smith. The song is their first single since signing with Alcopop! Records last month. Problem Patterns released their single “Y.A.W.” in 2022, a handful of singles in 2020, and their EP Good For You Aren’t You Great? in 2019. Check out the video below.

Sleaford Mods: "So Trendy" (ft. Perry Farrell)

Sleaford Mods have released a video for their new song “So Trendy” which features Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction. The video was directed by John Minton. The song is off their upcoming album UK GRIM which will be out March 10 via Rough Trade Records. Sleaford Mods released Spare Ribs in 2021. Check out the video below.
