Videos: Fucked Up: "Cicada"

Fucked Up have released a video for their new song “Cicada”. The video was directed by Colin Medley. The song is off their upcoming album One Day which will be out January 27 via Merge Records. Fucked Up will be touring North America and the UK starting tomorrow. Check out the video below.

AJJ to release new album, share two new songs

AJJ have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Disposable Everything and will be out May 26 via Hopeless Records. The band has also released two new songs with one being the title track and the other called “Dissonance”. The video for “Disposable Everything” was filmed at the Arizona Puppet Theater in Phoenix, Arizona, and was written and directed by Joe Stakun. AJJ released Good Luck Everybody in 2020. Brixton-based post-punk power trio Alien Chicks have released a video for their new song “Cowboy”. The song appears to be a standalone single and is out now via Slow Dance Records. The video was directed, filmed, and edited by Lou Smith with assistance from Sky Freedman. Alien Chicks released three singles in 2022. Check out the video below.

Festivals & Events: Frank Turner, The Bronx, Codefendants, more added to Slam Dunk Fest Italy

The Italian version of Slam Dunk Fest has added more bands to its lineup for this year. Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls, Zebrahead, Stand Atlantic, The Bronx, Charlotte Sands, Boston Manor, Trophy Eyes, Codefendants, and Beauty School have been added to the festival. These bands join the previously announced lineup of Rancid, Anti-Flag, Less Than Jake, Bowling For Soup, Destroy Boys, The Offspring, Simple Plan, Billy Talent, Enter Shikari, and Trash Boat. Slam Dunk Italy will take place June 1-3 in Rimini, Italy.

Boston Calling earns praise for gender diversity in 2023 performer lineup
