City and Colour to release new album, shares new song "Underground"

City and Colour has announced a new album. It is called The Love Still Held Me Near and will be out March 31 via Dine Alone Records. A new song called “Underground” has also been released. City and Colour released Low Songs in 2020 and A Pill for Loneliness in 2019. Check out the song and tracklist below.

Judiciary announce new album, release "Engulfed" video

Judiciary have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Flesh + Blood and will be out March 10 via Closed Casket Activities. The album was produced and engineered by Arthur Rizk and mixed and mastered by Will Putney. The band has also released a video for their new song “Engulfed” which was directed by Clint Carney. Judiciary released Surface Noise in 2019. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Videos: Gina Birch: "I Play My Bass Loud"

Gina Birch of The Raincoats has released a video for her new solo single “I Play My Bass Loud”. The video was directed and edited by Vice Cooler and features bassists Emily Elhaj, Hazel Rigby, Nikki Itzigsohn, and Stan Lindes. The song is off her upcoming debut solo album of the same name which will be out February 24 via Third Man Records. Gina Birch released her first solo single in 2021. Check out the video below.

Tours: Single Mothers / Chastity / Botfly (Eastern Canada)

Single Mothers have announced dates for Eastern Canada for this March. Chastity will be joining them on all dates and Botfly will be joining them on selected dates. Superchunk to release new 7-inch, share "Everything Hurts"

Superchunk have announced that they will be releasing a new two-song single. The single features two songs which were recorded during their sessions for their 2022 album Wild Loneliness. Seattle-based music festival Belltown Bloom has announced its lineup for this year. L7, Mannequin Pussy, Pussy Riot, Skating Polly, Thunderpussy are among the bands playing. Tickets go on sale this Friday. Belltown Bloom will take place May 5 & 6 at The Crocodile in Seattle, Washington.
