Tom Morello is throwing the Defend Minnesota show. The event is in solidarity with ICE protestors. 100% of proceeds go to the families of I.C.E. victims Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Morello is playing along with Rise Against, Al Di Meola, Ike Reilley, and a surprise guest. The event is January 30 in Minneapolis and tickets are on sale now. Morello issued a statement: “If it looks like fascism, sounds like fascism, acts like fascism, dresses like fascism, talks like fascism, kills like fascism and lies like fascism, boys & girls it’s f*cking fascism. It’s here, it’s now, it’s in my city, it’s in your city and it must be resisted, protested, defended against, stood up to, exposed, ousted, overthrown and driven out. By you and by me. We are coming to Minneapolis where the people have heroically stood up against ICE, stood up against Trump, stood up against this terrible rising tide of state terror. Where the people have stood up for their neighbors and themselves, for democracy and justice. Ain’t nobody coming to save us except us and it’s now or never.”

Napalm Death have announced North American tour dates for this spring. The trek will begin with their performance at Florida’s Welcome to Rockville festival on May 7 and will wrap up on June 14 in Vancouver, BC. Deadguy and Primitive Man will be joining them on select dates. Acid Bath and Pig Destroyer will be joining them for two shows in late May. Napalm Death released Throes of Joy in the Jaws of Defeatism in 2020. Check out the dates below.

Suicide Machines have announced two shows in Michigan for February. They will be playing their album War Profiteering Is Killing Us All in full. The shows will take place on February 20 and February 21. Along with the show announcement, the band said on Instagram, “This will be the only time and place we’re gonna do this.” Tickets go on sale January 29. Check out the dates below.

The JUNO Awards have announced the nominees for this year. The OBGMs, PUP, The Beaches, Three Days Grace, Saya Gray, Aysanabee, grandson, Counterparts, Silverstein, and Snotty Nose Rez Kids are among the artists nominated. The JUNO Awards will take place on March 29 at the TD Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario. Mae Martin is this year’s host. You can see all of the nominees right here.

Saetia, Incendiary, Petrol Girls, Taqbir, Xiao, Bratakus, Bathed In Sin, Canny See, Thrown Away, Pig Destroyer, Eyehategod, Wormrot, Raging Speedhorn, Machukha, Rwake, Cwfen, Maud The Moth, Gout, L, Unmaking, Big Farmer, Obsidian Sand, and Electric Sun Defence will be playing the festival. More bands will be announced in the coming months. Core. Festival will take place on November 13-15 around several venues in Glasgow, Scotland including The Art School, Nice N Sleazy, and Garnethill Multicultural Centre.
