Just weeks after his final performance (solo and with Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne has passed away. He was 76. Osbourne's family released a brief statement: "“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.” We send our condolences to Ozzy's family, friends, and fans. Superchunk have released a new song. It is called “Stuck in a Dream” and is off their upcoming album Songs In The Key of Yikes which will be out on August 22 via Merge Records. Superchunk will be touring the US starting in September and released their most recent album, Wild Loneliness, in 2022. Check out the song below.

The Carolyn are going to release a new LP. It's called Pyramid Scheme of Grief and it's out via 59x Records. The album is 11 tracks and you can check out the lead single below- "White russians" feartures the punk cellist.

Suicide Machines are going to re-release 2005's War Profiteering. The album remains on sideonedummy, but the new version is remastered and the record itself is a zoetrope picture disc (it looks like an animation due to the disc rotating). You can see the info below.

Gymshorts have released a video for their new song “DUI IUD”. The video was filmed by Dom Boisvert and edited by Ethan Vara. The song is the band’s second single to be released this year, following “PMDD”. Gymshorts released their album Knock Knock in 2018. Check out the video below.

Dear Landlord offered a brief update regarding their activities. The band has been on hiatus for some time, but recently announced the release of a singles/rarities compilation. This week, they also stated that they have regained the rights to their only LP, and plan to re-release it. Death Goals have announced that they will be releasing a new EP. It is called Survival Is An Act of Defiance and will be out on August 29. The band has also released a video for their new song “Tchotchke” which features Jenna Pup of HIRS Collective. The video was directed and edited by Kate Feast.
