Teens In Trouble and Bat Boy break down each track on their new split EP!

Yesterday (May 1) Teens In Trouble and Bat Boy released their excellent split EP and today we are thrilled to bring you the stories behind each of the four tracks! The EP features one original song from each band along with a cover of one of the other's songs. Teens In Trouble's original song is called "August" and they covered "Ghosts" from Bat Boy's 2023 album Fun Machine. Bat Boy's original song is called "Oh Wee!" and they covered "Brave" from Teens In Trouble's 2024 album What's Mine. We caught up with Lizzie Killian of Teens In Trouble and Hannah Eagle to hear about what went into putting the songs for the split together. Teens in Trouble / Bat Boy is available everywhere now via Asian Man Records. Teens In Trouble and Bat Boy will be touring North America together starting next week. Tony Hawk announces THPS Fest with Adolescents, Urethane, Danny Brown, Lupe Fiasco

Tony Hawk is re-releasing Tony Hawk Pro-Skater entries 3 and 4 as Tony hawk Pro-Skater 3+4+ on July 11. He's throwing a shindig at the El Rey in LA next Thursday. Four acts will be performing: Adolescents, Urethane, Danny brown, Lupe Fiasco. There also will likely be other things to do there, like play the new/old video game. You can see the announcement below.

Videos: Gender Chores: "Woman of Your Age"

Gender Chores have released a video for their new song “Woman of Your Age”. The video was directed and edited by Darren Hill. The song is the band’s second single released so far this year, following “Roy” in February, and is off their upcoming EP Waiting Lists which will be out on June 27. Gender Chores released their collection album Play The Greatest Hits in 2022. Check out the video below.

Green Day get their own Slurpee flavor at 7-11

You can now wrap your lips around Green Day. In a partnership with 7-11 (which already sells the Green Day brand coffee "Punk Bunny,") the band announced the release of the Kerplunk flavor Slurpee. The flavor is being introduced nationwide. You can see the band's announcement below.
