On April 26, Metallica played at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills opened the show. Metallica released their album 72 Seasons in 2023 and are currently touring the US. Our photographer Stephen McGill was there to capture all the action. Check out his photos below!
On April 25, PIG PEN played their debut show at Sneaky Dee’s in Toronto, Ontario. The band is made of Matty Matheson, Daniel Romano, Wade MacNeil, Ian Romano, and Tommy Major. Pinkshift have released a video for their new song “Evil Eye”. The video was directed by the band along with Sihan Xu. The song appears to be a standalone single and is available digitally now via Hopeless Records. The Rock and Roll Hall of fame has announced its 2025 inductees. The acts making the cut this year are: Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden, and The White Stripes. Salt-N-Pepa and de Warren Zevon receive the musical influence award. The induction ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on November 8. Acts that were nominated but did not make the cut are Joy Division and New Order as one entity, Billy Idol, Mariah Carey, The Black Crowes, Mana, and Phish.
