Laura Stevenson to release new album, shares "Honey" video

Laura Stevenson has announced that she will be releasing a new album. It is called Late Great and will be out on June 27 via Really Records. She has also released a video for her new song “Honey” which features footage by Rachel Brennecke and Sammi Niss and was edited by Chris Farren. Laura Stevenson released her EP with Jeff Rosenstock, Younger Still, in 2022 and released her most recent studio album Laura Stevenson in 2021. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Ithaca releases final song

Ithaca have released their final song. It is called “Ithaca” and is available digitally now. The band announced that they would be disbanding earlier this year and played their final headlining show in February at the O2 Academy Islington in London, UK. The band will be playing at the ArcTanGent Festival in Bristol, UK on August 15. Ithaca’s final album was 2022’s They Fear Us. Listen to the song below.

Festivals & Events: Dillinger Four, Home Front, Bootlicker, more to play Flowers in Concrete

Flowers in Concrete, a new one-day festival put together by Not Dead Yet and Static Shock Records, has announced the lineup for its inaugural year. Dillinger Four, Home Front, Dark Thoughts, Slash Need, Bootlicker, Abism, Melissa, The Hell, Peace Talks, Faze, Calamity, Siyahkal, Hogtied, and Constrictor will be playing. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Palestine Action Legal Defence Fund. Flowers in Concrete will take place on July 12 over 2 stages at the Great Hall and Longboat Hall in Toronto, Ontario.

Turnstile release video for "Look Out For Me"

Turnstile have released a video for their new song “Look Out For Me”. The video was directed by lead vocalist Brendan Yates and guitarist Pat McCrory. The song is off their upcoming album NEVER ENOUGH which will be out on June 6. Turnstile will be touring this summer and released their album Glow On in 2021. Check out the video below.

Today we are thrilled to bring you the premiere of the debut full-length album by Washington, DC-based punk rockers Sex Faces! The album features eleven tracks full of the band’s chaotic energy and blend of punk, post-punk, indie rock, and garage rock. We caught up with the band to hear the stories behind each of the tracks. They sent us a transcription of them talking about them after a practice session. Hunx and His Punx sign to Get Better Records, announce first album in 12 years

Hunx and His Punx have announced that they’ve signed with Get Better Records and will be releasing their first album in 12 years with the label. The album is called Walk Out On This World and will be out on August 22. The band has also released a video for their new song “Alone in Hollywood on Acid” which was directed by Sandy Honig. Hunx and His Punx also announced that they will be touring the US and Toronto this summer. The shows begin in Seattle, Washington on August 26 and wrap up on September 27 in Los Angeles, California. Fortitude Valley to release new album, share "Sunshine State" video

Indie rockers Fortitude Valley have signed with Specialist Subject Records and announced that they will be releasing a new album on the label later this year. The album is called Part of the Problem, Baby and will be out on August 1. The band has also released a video for their new song “Sunshine State” which was shot in Queensland, Australia. Fortitude Valley released their self-titled album in 2021. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Tours: Green Day to tour South America

Green Day have announced tour dates for South America. The trek will begin on August 24 in Bogota, Columbia and will wrap up on September 15 in Asuncion, Paraguay. Green Day will be touring Europe beginning in June and released their album Saviors in 2024. Check out the dates below.
